Brian Curtis – Senior Consultant (Wales)
Brian is the Cogitamus specialist in Wales, bringing significant expertise to clients in understanding the Welsh agenda and the specific requirements of the Assembly.
A lifelong trades unionist, Brian has a strong transport background, as well as expertise in sustainable development and environmental issues. Brian was a member of the National Union of Railwaymen (now RMT) Executive before serving as a regional organiser until 2008.
Brian has been a member of the Welsh Assembly Government Transport Advisory Committee since its inception six years ago and is a former president and long standing member of the Welsh TUC’s General Council and Executive Committee, as well as being the TUC spokesperson on transport.
In a personal capacity Brian is a member of the EU’s European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
